After a wisdom tooth extraction, there are a few things you can do to reduce the swelling:

– Keep your head elevated and consider a saltwater rinse 3 times a day.
– Apply a cold or hot compress to your face for 20 minutes then remove for 20 minutes before reapplying to boost circulation.
– Your dentist will be happy to advise on other aftercare tips to reduce swelling and look after your teeth.
