Mr Apostolos Vlachogiorgos graduated from the Medical University of Athens in 2006.
Following completion of his core training in General Surgery, he started his training in Plastic Surgery. Since 2012, Apostolos has been living and working in the UK. In 2020, he entered the Specialist Register of GMC as a fully trained Plastic Surgeon. Since 2016, Apostolos has been working at the Christie in Manchester, which is internationally recognised as one of the best oncology hospitals in the world.
Apostolos has developed a great passion for the reconstructive aspect of Plastic Surgery. In 2018, he successfully completed his master’s in Reconstructive Microsurgery with Distinction. Since 2019, Apostolos has been an Honorary Lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London, teaching microsurgery. Apostolos has vast participation in national and international plastic surgery meetings and has contributed to a series of published articles in the literature.
Apostolos shares a great interest in surgical and non-invasive aesthetic techniques. He has been performing toxin and filler injections and a series of cosmetic treatments and lasers since 2008. Apostolos truly believes that everyone is unique and requires an individual, tailor-made approach. He is known amongst his patients for his holistic and detailed consultations, his perfectionism and his precision. With great respect to human anatomy and physiology, Apostolos is a fan of natural, long-lasting results and fully supports the “ageing gracefully” philosophy.
In his spare time, Apostolos spends quality time with his family and friends. He loves CrossFit, swimming and weightlifting, and he is a big fan of the keto diet.
